About Me
David Boyes
Having completed a 36 year long career in the Petrochemicals world I took a step back in 2024 to consider my future.
My working life started in finance and when I'm in numbers, spreadsheets and systems, I find myself in my happy place.
My life in employment saw me progress through Finance, Procurement where I managed a European team. Then to Product Management where I integrated an acquired business and grew my portfolio of products. Very quickly I was promoted to a Regional Business Management role where I repositioned a business for growth and success. Finally as a Global Business Director for two successfully merged finished fluids businesses.
Together with this background I'm ready to help you with your bookkeeping no matter your size and scale, complexity or simplicity.
Boyes Business Services was born in June 2025 with my goal to help my clients with my business background and How Many Beans Bookkeeping is very much in the centre of my offer receiving our Institute of Certified Bookkeepers practice licence in January 2026.
We live an outdoor life, Swimming, Biking, Running, Walking and Sailing and looking after Winnie the Working English Springer Spaniel. I have a Son away at University studying Physics, making his Dad immensely proud.
